LOTR, blog, and life.

So, I am going to enter a contest for a lego magazine... A lego Lord of the rings contest! I need to build an amazing LOTR scene. (which is pretty much all of them) So, What do you think? What's your favorite scene?

And of another subject entirely...

Could you please pray for me and my family? My mom and dad are having a hard time getting money, so we may have to move! This is the place I want to stay more than anywhere else! I'd rather be here than any other tropical island or mansion in the world... But if God wants me to do His work somewhere else, I pray that I'll accept it and be joyful. I hope all of you guys are doing better than me :(

And of yet another subject...

What do you want to see on the ol' blog? More photography, funny stories, daily journals. (I'm a guy. I can't call it a diary!)
Will blog for comments!

God bless everyone!

  1. Ye chinchilla of legos...how I am envious of your lego-wielding skills... =P

    Here are my ideas:
(beware, this could be bad advice)
To win a LOTR contest for best scene, you should really try to think outside the box. I mean, everyone will anticipate Saruman's tower and Helms Deep to make some sort of appearance somewhere, but would they expect The Old Forest near Tom Bombadil's, which only makes an appearence in the books? Or what about The Ruins-which-name-escapes-me where Frodo gets stabed by the Witch King, or Moria, or Fangorn Forest (if you make a Treebeard out of legos I might scream =D ), or Osgilioth (spelling??), or---OOOOOOHHHH!---Whadda 'bout the Black Gate scene!? THAT WOULD BE COOL...*looks dazed*

Okay, not sure how helpful that was...

My prayers are with you (an' yousa's family), and the leval of your faith in God with all this really amazes and inspires me. The more I read from you, the more I know that our Savior has set you apart as a very special child of his, and he has some awesomely fantastic plans for you!

You obviously have a talent for making people laugh (yeah, sir Chinchilla in a skirt! =D ), and I most certaintly love to hear your funny stories.
And that's what makes a *ahem* journal good (by the way, I don't like to use the word diary either...sounds to formal *choking noise*). Write from the heart and know that you have some remarkable gifts from God.

Glad to see that someone else will blog for comments too! =)

(this must be where I stand up on top of our roof and wail dreamily "I'mmmm not the oooonnlly ooooone!")

    God bless,
    K-Minty

  2. The ruins are called weathertop I think... But they already made a lego set out of that. Acctually, I did make a lego treebeard once! But I destroyed it... I think I'll go and make him again today! :D
Osgilioth would be fun! I have thousands of gray peices! And to go with Osgilioth I'd just HAVE to make a Nazgul dragon! :D :D :D :D

    I am really excited now...
Thanks so much for you prayers. All of you bloggers and AIO commenters have really helped me and inspired me to grow in christ. I hope God continues to bless your life!

Ya, I think a chinchilla in a skirt would make anyone laugh. Go get Hitler or Osama ben ladin, and I bet they'd have to go to the bathroom from to much laughter! :P

    See yaz awl laterz!
    Bart wrathbin out!

  3. Seth, you know what? I think God had me start posting on Whit's End because he knew I'd run into you. You've encouraged me so much, dude! You may be having a tough time, yet you keep trusting in Jesus so firmly. I know people who have been in easier situations and have left their faith behind. You are strong.
In some ways, as I go through my issues with family, cancer, and friends, you are what helps me keep going.
I've been praying for you for a long time and I'm not about to stop. My former youth group(I've graduated to the adult class) is still praying for you too.

    God Bless You, Seth!!!

    your friend,
    Ely

  4. I am praying for you Seth. I've been praying for you for months. You always really encouraged me and I totally looked up to you over AIO.

I understand where your coming from....(probably more than you realize.)

God loves you more than you know, and through all of these things that are rough and make us feel like giving up, he's right next to us the whole time, even though it might not seem like that. You've been (and are) so strong and courageous! Keep on going my friend!

    All my love and prayers,
    Lauricia
